¡Bienvenidos a mi página!
I graduated from Murray State University in 2010 with a double major in Spanish and German. After that, I moved to Mexico City and taught English and German for various organizations and eventually worked for myself. There I worked with students of all ages (6 - 67, if I remember correctly) and taught business people, diplomats, school-aged children, and even an ambassador.
In 2012, I moved back to the states, got certified to teach and have taught in both Camden and Nashville. I also worked with the state Migrant Education Program for a short time, eventually returning to Camden, and to teaching in the classroom.
I teach primarily through Comprehensible Input and TPRS strategies and believe that anybody is capable of learning a language. Just like anything, it takes work and practice, but it is rewarding if you put in the effort.
I enjoy teaching, and it is my hope that you develop language proficiency in my class that helps you travel and connect to more people. Enjoy your time studying Spanish with me! I look forward to working with you.
