Hello!  My name is Andrea Needham.  I have been teaching in Benton County since the fall of 2012.  I began my teaching career at Camden Junior High School as an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher.  This year, I moved to Camden Central High School and I now teach English II and Honors English II.

I am a 2001 Camden Central High School graduate.  After high school, I left Benton County and moved to Jackson, Tennessee, where I stayed a few years until I moved to Florida.  From there, I lived in Georgia and Nashville.  I decided to come home after I had my first daughter, Brooklyn.  I got a job at CHS as a teacher's assistant and worked as the secretary for Coordinated School Health.  In the midst of all this, I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English Education.  I had my 2nd daughter, Blakely, shortly after I completed my first year teaching.

Besides being a mother and teacher, I am a music lover.  Music always plays around me.  I enjoy boat days on the river, porch sitting, reading, and just being outside!
